In the depths of winter, we all long for some warm sunshine. Although it’s doubtful that we’ll be able to go abroad before the summer, it has been so uplifting to spend the lockdown writing about the amazing trips we’ve had.
A few years ago we had a wonderful week in Granada and Nerja during the Easter holidays – spending the first 3 nights checking out the sights of Granada and then heading to the coast for some time in Nerja. Combining a visit to the magnificent Alhambra Palace, a fun hike in the Sierra Nevada and the best tapas, Granada was a hit with everyone. Then on to Nerja where the temperature was up into the mid 20s, we spent a few days chilling on the beach, checking out Malaga and wandering around the mountain-top town of Frigliana.
It was a great combination for families who like a city break but also want to have fun on the beach.
Head to my pages –Granada and Nerja – for more info on the places we visited and inspiration for planning your own trip.
